KINGSVILLE — See Tre'vion Johnson. See Tre'vion Johnson run. See Tre'vion Johnson run…a lot.
It's no secret that the SA Southwest Dragons love to run the ball.
In 10 games, including a bi-district beatdown of Rio Grande City last week, the Dragons have rushed for 2,770 yards.
Johnson leads the team with 1,202 yards and 20 touchdowns, including a 196-yard and four-TD effort against the Rattlers last week. SW has gained 3,542 total yards on the season.

For his football team there is no such thing as ‘Valley Week.' Not after narrowly escaping McHi one week ago in overtime.
But he didn't have to worry too long as the Dragons jumped on the Raiders early and often while building a 34-point halftime lead before coasting to a 41-21 Class 5A, Div. II area-round victory Saturday afternoon at Buc Stadium.

READY TO RUN: Raiders, Dragons have same mindset
Syndicated on Nov-21-2008. Courtesy of RGVSports.comCORPUS CHRISTI - The PSJA North defense tonight will have to do what the McAllen High defense couldn't.
Last week against the Bulldogs, the San Antonio Southwest offense rushed for 291 yards to beat McHi. This week, the Raiders (8-3) will get their chance to beat the physical Dragons, and once again affirm why their defense is annually considered one of the Rio Grande Valley's best.
